It is so close to Solstice and being able to catch more daylight.

I mean, when you read this it’ll be tomorrow but at writing it’s a week away and these little solar flare rays of light? They’re everything.

They even make my eyes look a real shade of brown, not some possessed all-black soul-sucking lack of irises.

Or maybe dyeing my hair a darker shade helps with that.

It doesn’t matter. The Longest Night is coming, and from there it only gets brighter.

And that’s something to smile about.
