Tabatha Wharton

I will be the first to admit I did not like this outfit.

I was in a strange mood when I woke up on this Causal Hipster Monday — you know when nothing seems to fit you right anymore and you’re trying to not just do the thing you always do and you keep putting more and more things on, thinking something might tip the balance and make it all come together?

Spoiler alert: it didn’t.

And I was super stoked about these boots, thinking they’d replace my other flat thigh-high boots, but alas, they were not made for tall people and unfortunately it took me wearing them once to figure that out … which of course means I can’t return them, so I guess I’m stuck with them.

I guess that’s what I get for forcing myself to try something out of the norm for me — at this point my closet is pretty honed down to my particular style and trying to be more “normal” ends up with me grumpy and feeling grumpy and stuck with a pair of boots that don’t fit the way they should. Again.

Can’t win them all, I guess.
