I’m going to be honest, this outfit was a lot cuter in my head than I think it ended up being in real life.

Despite it being #casualhipstermonday, I found myself leaning towards a much more conservative look than I usually partake in, especially on the one workday a week I’m allowed to kind of wave my weirdo flag a little more ferociously than say, an evening shift. There’s been some changes at my workplace that have me feeling extra … watched, maybe? I don’t know. Maybe it’s fall and the return to school and the chillier weather. Or the strange feeling I’ve had recently regarding trying to dress my age a bit more, even when it feels a bit more costumey than I’d like. Or that I’ve gained back a solid amount of the weight I lost last spring. It’s hard telling, to tell the truth.
