My Fridays are wildly different depending on the week. I don’t have class (most of the time, save for a weekend seminar here and there) but work shifts based on whether there’s an event in one of my company’s buildings (I work for a non-profit arts organization) so some weeks I’m there during the day, and other weeks I’m there in the evening. Today was a daytime schedule … which meant more business casual, but with a week-ending vibe.

It was also supposed to potentially rain all day, breaking the third heat wave since August, so I wore boots because I am full stop ready for fall … and also to hide that I have not one, not two, but three giant bruises on my right shin/calf, I’m not even sure what they’re from. Each one bigger than a golf ball. Such is my life.

Cold cup as accessory because if you know me, you know I’m always carrying a beverage (or two, and usually snacks) and my all-black-everything aesthetic extends to my travel containers. It’s just water, I promise.
