On Wednesdays we wear … whatever the hell we want to. It’s another work + class day while still straddling the unpredictable weather between summer and fall, so I picked one of my numerous shirt dresses (… okay, okay, this is likely technically a tunic) to wear to cover all the bases. I knew I’d be public-facing at work today plus I had a meeting with one of my bosses, so I tried to keep it tame-ish, at least for me. The chiffon kept me covered without the chance of overheating, which is always my main concern. If I’m hot, I’m pretty much unbearable. So this is one of my standby transition pieces that you will likely see again at some point. Flat booties kept me able to move quickly from task to task and location to location, and switching to my “grown-up” winter purse from my summer one means more room for snacks and the occasional bit of unfinished homework.
