Hi sometimes I work all dang weekend and then do social things after work when I should be home studying or doing research or something and sometimes I only get three hours of sleep before I get up and do it all again the next day and maybe sometimes I don’t even sleep in my own bed and sometimes I have to miss actual modeling events because of work and only manage to carve out a heavy 45 minutes to visit with a friend I haven’t seen in a few months after a shift before I have to move on to the next thing and at least those bags under my eyes are designer, damnit, if only because my wild allergies refuse to keep my boutique winged eyeliner in place.

Another work shift, another attempt at looking more grown up and respectable because heaven forbid the sight of me offends another human in attendance at an entertainment based function.

To be fair, I’m being harder on myself than my workplace has ever been on me. I think I’ve only been redirected maybe twice over the last four-ish years I’ve worked there, so really I’m being hypervigilant about a non-issue because I’m looking for a semblance of control over my life.

Also there was pumpkin ice cream at this event and I was not mad about that being in my face at all. Especially since I ate something the night before that triggered my hops allergy and my esophagus was fighting it’s very purpose in life (to allow me to breathe) until I could get a proper medicinal intervention on Monday morning. Because my life is fun.

Though I’m absolutely wearing flats because I walked too far in wedge heels two nights in a row and my feet were going to straight revolt if I tried to eek out one more day anything but flatfooted.
