And then on I had one of the worst attacks of the nearly-forgotten vertigo + migraine combo which kept me house bound and horizontal most of the day, and I did not take a picture of my very nauseated, very drained self.

But I did manage to rally enough to do a thing (mostly because I was already treating all of the migraine symptoms so why not take advantage of the opportunity to engage in things previously known to potentially also trigger the migraines?) and I was feeling much better on Friday, so here we are.

It was a stupid gorgeous day, I had a day shift at work, plus a weekend seminar class, plus social plans, so I needed something flexible but work appropriate but also me enough (especially with my new-ish hair that hasn’t been a bright color in nearly two years) that I’d feel confident meeting new people and going new-ish places.

Of course, that means (faux) leather leggings. And my new big-girl-adult-ass-suitcase-purse because I am at a point of being done fighting with myself trying to carry smaller bags and legitimately breaking them as I try to fit all of the things I need in my very mobile, sometimes near-transient feeling life. So basically more room for snacks and to carry my shoes when I inevitably am done wearing them but don’t want to look like I’m doing some walk of shame at 3pm on a Tuesday.

Flexibility matters, kids.
